EATING SUGGESTIONS
❶ If possible, always consume our oil in crude. If you take more than 50 or 60 cc per day, try to reduce the calories of other products less healthy (for example, animal fats).
By adding a splash of oil in your toast bread, pasta ands salads you will realize that your meals taste better and are more healthy.
❷ Only the oleic acid´s overage accrues on the adipose tissue. If you consume the olive oil in the proper quantities, the oleic acid wil repair your membranes without fatten you.
La Casona oils have a high content in oleic acid (82,4% in the last harvest), monounsaturated fatty acid and biologically active which belongs to the human body´s cellular membran.
❸ Try to avoid fried food. If possible, use the griddle when cooking the aliments (meals, vegetables, etc.) and add a little crude oil. It will make it taste better and be more helpful.
In order that the olive oil provide this benefits, the oleic acid cannot be in "trans" state. Being crude, our olive has no "trans" states, and that ´s why it is so healthy.
❹ Use to consume olive oil in dark bottles, as you do with red wine.
Oils contain chlorofila, a substance with strong biological action on the metabolism and celular growing. That is the reason why our recipients are dark, to keep oil out from the light.
❺ Do not worry for the dregs nor the cloudiness, it guarantee the presence of polyphenols.
Our olive oil has a high content on natural antioxidants (420 mg of polyphenols by kg of olive approx.), which gives it a big resistance to the oxidation and therefore stability and high nutritional power. Despite we filter the oil with a one micra mesh, the polyphenols that are only partly fat soluble stay in the oil, producing a sligth turbidity.
